Alfonso Grassopoulos receives the IAMTN Award OF “Best Manager In Money Transfer”
Alfonso Grassopoulos has been nominated as “Best Manager in Money Transfer” by the International Association of Money Transfers (IAMTN), the only international trade association, representing Money Transfer (remittances) industry across the globe.
The prestigious awards were presented during the Global Money Transfers Summit (GMTS) in London on 15th November 2010 in presence of business leaders from the largest money transfer companies, banks, regulators, suppliers, inter-governmental agencies, technology companies and international legal firms.
Alfonso Grassopoulos has a 12 years strong experience in the money transfer industry. For the past 2 years, Alfonso Grassopoulos is the Regional Director for Italy, Switzerland, Greece, Cyprus, Albania and Poland at Coinstar Money Transfer Ltd. while being the Managing Director of Coinstar Hellas SA, a Greek money transfer company owned by Coinstar Money Transfer Ltd.
Until 2008 Alfonso has been the Regional Director for Southern Europe and the Balkans at MoneyGram International where from inception he built the business in key markets as Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Albania while being accountable for acquiring a large master-agent in Italy and for creating the business relationship with the Italian Post Office.
