<p><em>Retelele sociale reprezinta  cel mai mare fenomen din istoria Internetului. Petrecem din ce in ce mai  mult timp accesand Facebook, Twitter sau Linkedin iar clientii si  potentialii nostri clienti si-au creat deja conturi in aceste retele sau  isi vor crea in viitorul apropiat. Cursul OPEN Social Media pentru  Companii este un workshop interactiv destinat specialistilor in vanzari  si marketing, directori de resurse umane, middle si top management din  companii romanesti si straine.<br />
Primul curs se va desfasura pe data de 23 aprilie, intre orele 9.00   17.00 la Hotelul Howard Johnson din Bucuresti si va cuprinde 4 module:</em></p>

<p><img title="financial analysis" src="http://www.atelier-us.com/upload/2009/05/market_financial_analyses.png" border="0" alt="financial analysis" width="190" height="120" align="right" />Smartphone sales will overtake laptop sales this year, causing PC makers to look to this rapidly developing market, <a title="source" href="http://www.gartner.com/it/page.jsp?id=1215932" target="_self">according to</a> a new report by Gartner.</p>
<p>The analyst firm predicts that all major PC vendors will break into the smartphone market by the year’s end.</p>
<p>Smartphone sales will grow 29 percent, reaching 180 million units sold year-over-year in 2009.</p>
<p>While smartphones make up only 14 percent of the mobile device market, they will account for 37 percent of sales in 2012, with revenue reaching $191 billion. PC sales, on the other hand, are forecast to only reach $152 billion in 2012.</p>
<p>As PC vendors move into this increasingly competitive market, they will be navigating in a very different market.</p>
<p>“PC vendors will find it difficult to simply use existing supply chains and channels to expand their presence in the smartphone market. The smartphone and notebook markets are governed by different rules when it comes to successfully marketing and selling products,” said Gartner analyst Roberta Cozza.</p>
<p>The main challenges PC vendors will face when entering the market are that specs are less important than with PCs but brand and user experience are more important; that the distribution channels are controlled by mobile vendors; that mobile vendors will have a significantly better understanding of the market; and that corporate smartphone decisions will be out of the hands of the IT manager.</p>
<p>“Understanding of mobile consumer behaviours, competitiveness and positioning of their mobile products and relationships with carriers are all barriers that cannot be overcome in the short term,” Cozza said.</p>
<p>“This will limit any PC vendor presence in the smartphone market to low single digits for some time,” Cozza said.</p>

<p>The State of the Blogosphere’s first part, published today, focuses on blogger demographics and the blogosphere’s relationship with traditional media.</p>
<p>Forty percent of bloggers have graduate degrees, and the average blogging household makes over $75,000 per year. Overwhelmingly, they are male: only one in three bloggers is female.</p>
<p>While the gender difference is problematic, the main line of criticism levied against blogs – especially during the last year as print outlets seem to be shutting down daily – is of their legitimacy in comparison to traditional media outlets.</p>
<p>The study deflates that criticism.</p>
<p>“Despite being perceived by some as enemies of the traditional media, bloggers actually carry a journalistic pedigree,” writes Technorati’s Matt Sussman. “35 percent of all respondents have worked within the traditional media as a writer, reporter, producer, or on-air personality.”</p>
<p>More than one-quarter of bloggers (27 percent) still work in traditional media, with 24 percent of those blogging separately from their roles in traditional media departments.</p>
<p>Obviously, bloggers with ties to traditional media should be training other bloggers how to do journalism correctly, i.e., teaching them the skill sets learned in J-school and in the newsroom. Ultimately, traditional media was not about fact checking, but about owning the sole means of production, which is obviously no longer the case. Mistaking industrial monopoly for intellectual authority is not helping journalism transition into its future.</p>
<p>While blogs are being taken much more seriously than they were a few years ago, only 35 percent of bloggers rely on them as their primary source of news and information, according to Technorati. This despite the fact that 46 percent believe that blogs are just as valid media sources as traditional outlets.</p>
<p>Will this change? The spate of layoffs at traditional news outlets has led to a lot of high-profile journalists moving over to the blogosphere. With this infusion of cultural capital, institutional authority should be quick to follow.</p>

<p>Un raport al companiei de soft antivirus McAfee a identificat cele mai periculoase cuvinte de cautat pe internet ce i-ar plasa pe utilizatori in calea malware.</p>
<p>Studiul a examinat 2600 de cuvinte populare si cinci mari motoare de cautare Google, Yahoo, Live, AOL si Ask &#8212; si a analizat 413.000 pagini web.</p>
<p>&#8220;In ultimul an am asistat la o modificare in ceea ce numim malware,&#8221; declara David DeWalt, presedinte al McAfee. &#8220;S-a trecut de la un hacker in subsol la infractiuni cibernetice organizate, efectiv terorism si alte forme de atacuri geopolitice organizate&#8221; .</p>
<p>Categoriile cele mai riscante de cautat sunt: screensaver, free games, work from home, Olympics, videos, celebrities, music si news.</p>
<p>Iar termenii cei mai riscanti, lyrics, myspace, free music downloads, phelps, game cheats, puzzle, free ringtones si solitaire.</p>
<p>Studiul arata si cum criminalii cibernetici sunt din ce in ce mai sofisticati.</p>
<p>&#8220;Putem avea probleme mari cu un hacker in subsol- am vazut asta recent cu &#8216;Twitter worm,&#8217; un adolescent de 17 ani a penetrat, din subsolul sau, zeci de milioane de computere, sau putem avea atacuri organizate&#8221;,</p>
<p>De altfel se apreciaza ca programele antivirus sunt in urma dezvoltarii criminalitatii online.</p>

<p>Rusii au Yandex, iar chinezii au Baidu. Cele doua motoare de cautare sunt primele invocate atunci cand se vorbeste de sansele motoarelor de cautare locale in raport cu mamutul Google si tot la ele s-au raportat si ambitiile celor care si-au propus sa lanseze rivali locali ai Google in Cehia sau Slovenia. Ei au reusit. Se poate si in Romania?</p>
<p><!--am pus div in loc de spam pentru functia de modificare a fontului-->“A te bate acum cu Google pe piata romaneasca e  sinucidere”, spunea Orlando Nicoara, directorul general al MediaPro Interactiv, in urma cu mai bine de doi ani. De atunci, in opinia lui Nicoara par sa se fi schimbat multe: “Am descoperit Onet.pl in Polonia, Seznam.cz in Cehia, Yandex.ru in Rusia si Nadji.si in Slovenia, motoare de cautare care depasesc Google in tarile respective, moment in care am admis ca exista o mica posibilitate de a bate cel mai mare motor de cautare din lume in Romania”, scria saptamana trecuta pe blogul sau, in postul in care anunta ca MediaPro Interactiv a lansat un motor de cautare romanesc.</p>
<p>Okidoki.ro a starnit in mod previzibil polemici in internetul autohton, din doua motive: este primul motor de cautare romanesc care are aspiratii sa intre direct in competitia cu Google si, in acelasi timp, primul care vrea sa-l si depaseasca in termeni de relevanta. Primul, concurenta cu Google, are justificare in faptul ca Google e singurul motor de cautare adevarat din internetul romanesc, avand probabil o cota de piata de 99%, dupa aprecierea lui Orlando Nicoara. Iar cum alte site-uri care efectueaza cautari online nu au capatat popularitate la noi, versiunea locala a Google este singurul reper la care se poate raporta Okidoki.ro.</p>
<p>Cel de-al doilea obiectiv presupune ca la o cautare dupa acelasi cuvant cheie pe Google.ro si Okidoki.ro, rezultatele returnate de acesta din urma vor fi mai relevante pentru utilizator. Aici ar interveni algoritmul propriu de cautare, dezvoltat de la zero de echipa formata din sase oameni implicata in ultimul an in dezvoltarea Okidoki, care isi propune sa adapteze mai bine rezultatele in functie de cei ce cauta numai Google.ro, care foloseste in continuare un algoritm general valabil. Spre exemplu, cand cineva din Timisoara va cauta pe Okidoki.ro cuvantul “restaurant”, motorul ar trebui sa identifice intai din ce oras este adresa de IP a respectivului si va returna in primul rand nume de restaurante din Timisoara si din orasele apropiate.</p>
